Podiatry at Coomera Wellness CentreIf you suffer from these or any other foot problems, make an appointment to have your feet checked and see how we can help you to stay on your feet.

The way your foot strikes the ground can make a huge difference to your whole body. Most people do not know that their "footprint" may be causing many problems throughout their body.

Our Podiatrist Catherine James uses world leading technology to asses your foot pattern and ensure the most accurate diagnosis of your feet and footprint.

Using the high quality data from the "gaitscan" technology and a "hands on examination" we can produce amazing quality, personalised orthotics to suit your exact needs.

Don't forget feet can effect your whole body, from your ankles, to your knees, hips and spine!

If your foundation is not true, the rest will suffer.

What is Gaitscan Technology

Coomera Wellness Centre - Podiatry

GaitScanTM is a state of the art computer hardware and software system that helps your Podiatrist assess and analyze your foot mechanics with outstanding accuracy and reliability.

Imagine trying to determine normal or abnormal foot function with the naked eye in a quarter of a second? This is too difficult for even the most experienced practitioner.

GaitscanTM consists of an electronic plate made up of thousands of tiny sensors which capture the distribution of pressure in your foot as you walk or run across it.

This information is presented in a series of reports that are compared to an “ideal” foot scan. The report findings will help your practitioner evaluate your foot function and, together with their skilled assessment, determine if the pain you are experiencing is related to faulty foot function which can be corrected with functional foot orthotics.
